Apple and Samsung are the world most well-known companies in mobile devices and electronics. Both companies are launching their best and latest advance products to engage their customers. In this article of versuszone, we are discussing about the reveal of Apple getting help from Samsung for their iPhone.
Recently, Apple has brooked its deal with the Korean company, from which Apple is was buying pre build technologies for their products specially iPhone. Recently, it is reported that Apple reaches deal with Samsung, which is replace that Korean company. The main gadget of this deal is OLED panels.
According to the terms of the deal, Samsung Display will supply in the region of 100 million 5.5-inch OLED panels annually, with the value being estimated at $2.59 billion.
On the other hand, Samsung is the leading master in OLED research and AMOLED production, was previously reported as being “on the fast track” to building a dedicated facility for supplying displays to Apple. In doing so, it is straggled by Japan Display (with 16 percent) and LG Display (with 14 percent.) Both of these companies will also provide OLED displays to Apple in smaller quantities.
While not mentioned in the Korea Herald‘s report, another competing to Samsung is also probable to be Sharp, which was recently developed by Apple manufacturer Foxconn. The main impetus Foxconn developed the money-losing Sharp is supposedly so that it can compete in the OLED display market.
Foxconn CEO Terry Gou has before tried to get Apple to lessen its dependence on Samsung, specifically by telling other Taiwanese manufacturers they need to work together to counter the Samsung threat.
